Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in San Mateo, California. This position involves serving as the first point of contact for clients in a short-term housing facility, providing exceptional customer service and managing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will handle inbound calls, assist with inquiries, and ensure smooth day-to-day administrative support.

Responsibilities:

Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.

Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, including directing calls to the appropriate departments.

Handle inbound calls efficiently, addressing inquiries and providing accurate information.

Support administrative tasks such as maintaining records and managing scheduling.

Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable at all times.

Collaborate with team members to address client needs and resolve issues promptly.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client information.

Assist with the coordination of housing-related inquiries and services.

Provide timely updates and communication to management regarding client interactions.

Uphold company policies and procedures while delivering excellent customer service. Requirements - Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not required.

Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and directing calls appropriately.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and scheduling software.

A detail-oriented approach and ability to maintain confidentiality.
