Job Title: 1st Shift General Production

Job Description

This role involves assisting the fabrication team, particularly in the laser department. Responsibilities include shaking out parts and packaging a variety of parts. The company is a steel supplier that offers many services to meet client needs and can advance the steel through various stages of the process.

Responsibilities

Assist the fabrication team in the laser department.

Shake out and package a variety of parts.

Perform general labor tasks including lifting, bending, and packaging parts up to 40 lbs.

Stand and work on feet for a 10-hour shift.

Essential Skills

General labor skills.

Ability to perform general production tasks.

Capability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.

Experience in lifting, bending, and packaging tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6+ months experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

Work takes place on the shop floor in the fabrication area, assisting laser operators. The role requires being on your feet throughout the day in a clean environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
