Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Southlake, Texas. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who excels in managing general ledger activities, financial processes, and intercompany accounting. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a complex, multinational environment. This is a 9-12 month contract position. 100% ONSITE in Southlake, Texas.

Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager (contract position):

Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger activities, including posting journal entries and handling high-volume account reconciliations.

Oversee the validation and reclassification of balances between legacy systems and new organizational structures.

Identify process gaps, implement solutions, and ensure seamless financial operations between entities.

Support billing processes by analyzing contracts, identifying costs, and preparing accurate invoices.

Perform intercompany accounting tasks, including the management of foreign exchange (FX) translation items.

Collaborate with multiple departments to gather necessary data and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Lead financial processes and initiatives independently, ensuring deadlines and workload expectations are met.

Conduct month-end close processes, including account and bank reconciliations.

Serve as a key problem-solver by proactively addressing challenges and driving financial projects forward.

Requirements

Extensive experience in general ledger management, including month-end close processes and journal entries.

Proficiency in account reconciliation and resolving complex financial discrepancies.

Strong understanding of profit and loss (P& L) statements and intercompany accounting practices.

Familiarity with multinational accounting, including foreign exchange (FX) translation.

Proven ability to analyze contracts and execute billing processes accurately.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks.

Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and working independently on financial projects.

SAP or other large ERP experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
