What will you be doing?

Set up Banquet room as instructed by Supervisor to include linen, service ware and glassware.

Attend meetings before events to learn about the function, including guests and hotel expectations.

Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.

Serve food and /or beverage in order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet event.

Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and at the end of the meal or function.

Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.

Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.

Reset banquet room according to Supervisor's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the fowling function.

Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette. Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room .

Ability to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must have the ability to communicate in English.
