Summary The Management Analyst serves as a Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Mining Analyst that performs analysis to support data warehouse development, deploys Bl and reporting tools, and delivers self-service reporting and analytic solutions. Incumbent also prepares quantitative and qualitative analysis and research studies to include a wide array of benefits and health care-related issues. Responsibilities Major Duties include (but are not limited to): Recommends quality improvement in data collection and statistical information systems; Prepares and maintains documents and reports for business readiness; Prepares and presents briefings and information to management/supervisory officials; Provides data processing support for surveys, program evaluations, and special studies; Manages documents and historic records; Investigates and researches studies on a wide array of benefits and health care-related issues; Develops recommendations for corrective actions and methods to achieve efficient and effective operations; Defines oversight audit requirements; Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis; Selects statistical techniques, reports format, validity of data, and accuracy of results; Interprets, analyzes, and evaluates operations data and results; Applies knowledge of statistical techniques to solve problems; Identifies scope of surveys, sample sizes, and appropriate sampling procedures; and Utilize various software packages, to include Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab, SQL, or Visual Basic, to prepare special reports, forms, and correspondence.
