Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the COPS division under DOJ in Washington, DC.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Director and the Director's Office (DO) staff, assisting with various DO activities. Key responsibilities include:
Scheduling and Coordination:
o Arrange meetings with multiple high-level participants.
o Manage travel arrangements, including bookings, authorizations, and vouchers.
Documentation and Briefing:
o Compile and organize daily briefing books with relevant materials for executive reference.
o Track requests, including data calls, signature requests (approval/denial), and decision points.
Prioritization and Calendar Management:
o Efficiently manage competing demands and deconflict priorities.
o Maintain and update the Director's Office calendar, routinely reviewing the 30-60 day outlook.
Document Finalization:
o Finalize documents for internal use and submission to Main DOJ Leadership.
o Demonstrate strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
HR Assistance:
o Track and maintain documents, organizing appropriate materials for the Director and DO staff.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Video Conferencing, and Word.
Attention to detail for logistics and written documents.
Strong organizational skills.
Flexibility and thoughtful problem-solving abilities.
Strong and proactive work ethic.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Additional Requirements:
Must successfully pass a CGI Federal background investigation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOJ MRPT clearance.
Candidates may be required to provide a writing sample.
Hourly Rate: $38.79/hour
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level, relevant experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
