Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Franklin, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing billing, collections, and cash application processes, ensuring the company's financial operations run smoothly. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, with a hybrid schedule available after training, offering flexibility in a detail-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including billing and cash applications, with accuracy and efficiency.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances, ensuring timely collections from commercial accounts.

Handle daily cash activity and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.

Communicate effectively via email and written correspondence to address client inquiries and resolve issues.

Collaborate with internal teams to improve AR processes and ensure compliance with company policies.

Maintain detailed records of all transactions and collections activities for reporting purposes.

Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to accounts receivable for management review.

Utilize typing skills to efficiently manage documentation and communication in a fast-paced environment.

Ensure adherence to deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including billing, cash applications, and collections.

Strong skills in commercial collections and resolving outstanding balances.

Ability to communicate effectively through written correspondence and email.

Typing speed of 45-60 WPM to handle documentation efficiently.

Familiarity with cash activity tracking and financial reconciliation.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
