TheOperations Warehouse Managerdevelops, implements, and maintains all procedures and protocols regarding inbound/outbound inventory and all production support activities. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the proper warehousing and inventory control of all raw materials, finished goods, factory supplies, and all other inventory related to production activities. Specifically, the production support activities the Warehouse Manager will oversee include replenishment, kitting, material prep, spare parts, inbound/outbound freight, shipment of finished goods, and overall inventory control.
The Operations Warehouse Manager will also assist and support the Director of Operations and Operations Manager to achieve short- and long-term operational goals and objectives concerning inventory control and production efficiencies
Key Tasks
Manage, lead, and optimize all inbound and outbound inventory activities
Manage, lead, and optimize inventory control, inventory flow, warehouse footprint and utilization in support of all inbound, outbound, and production support activities
Manage, lead, and optimize inventory cycle counting and reconciliation activities
Develop and support countermeasures to address gaps in the reconciliation processes
Manage, lead, and optimize all production support activities (Replenishment, Kitting, Material Prep, and Spare Parts)
Analyze inventory levels for consumption volatility in order to assist supply chain team with optimized inventory levels
Support Develop and manage department budget
Continually develop and forecast staffing and warehouse footprint needs
Coordinate development of short and long-range inventory strategies and metrics
Support warehouse supervisors with all day-to-day activities
Develop, manage, and exceed department KPI's
Drive continuous improvement for all relevant standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process maps
Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training, development opportunities and performance management processes.
Ensure all safety rules/procedures are adhered to in the warehouse

Your Background
BA/BS degree preferred and/or 5-7 years' experience in material management related field
Preferred 5 years' experience managing inventory and production support activities in a manufacturing environment
3-5 years of warehouse management experience
Strong knowledge of Inventory Control, Purchasing, Logistics, and Supply Chain Process
Strong knowledge and experience working with WMS and ERP systems
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
Other qualifications or experiences.
