Job Title: Credit & Collections Specialist

Location: Chelmsford, MA

Position Summary:

As a Credit and Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients, analyzing financial data, and preparing risk assessments to support lending and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess credit risk.

Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for internal stakeholders.

Monitor existing credit exposures and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and risk management teams.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.

Assist in developing and refining credit policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.

Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk metrics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience with credit scoring systems or financial software is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
