System One is recruiting for a DCS Commissioning Specialist for Simple Cycle project in Fairfield, TX. The individual must have extensive T-3000 experience as a DCS commissioning specialist.
Electrical Commissioning Roles & Responsibilities:
Attend Factory Acceptance Test for Electrical Equipment (MV, LV Switchgears, Transformers, Relay Panels, etc)
Develop Electrical Initial Energization Procedures (Switchyard, Back-feed, Switchgears, Initial Synch, etc)
Initial energization, generator sync and 3rd party testing
Familiarity with component testing and commissioning aspects of following major electrical equipment & protection scheme will be an added advantage
220KV, 345KV Breakers
Generator Circuit Breakers
MV & LV Switchgears and MCCs
CTs, PTs, CVTs and three-line diagrams
Line Protection Scheme (Transformer & Motor Protection, Breaker Failure, and Bus Differential Scheme)
Synchronization
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, functional checkout of control & relaying scheme, DCS/RTU Loop checking
Electrical Commissioning Roles & Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience in the areas of power plants
Experience with GE gas turbine is preferred
Familiar with SCADA, RTU, DCS loop checkout testing and troubleshooting
Demonstrate thorough proficiency regarding protective relays, electrical control and protection scheme
NETA, IEEE Testing standards
Must be able familiar with NFPA 70E and able to demonstrate safe electrical troubleshooting skills
