Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Rockledge, Florida. This role plays a vital part in supporting day-to-day office operations and maintaining accurate and organized employee records. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate HR team members

Complete Verifications of Employment (VOEs), both electronically and with in-person investigators

File and maintain employee records in an organized manner

Monitor and manage the general HR email inbox; assign incoming requests or tickets as needed

Track completion of onboarding tasks and required documentation

Open and scan incoming mail into appropriate digital folders

Assist in tracking employee leave balances and FMLA documentation

Support the entry of new employees into ADP

Process terminations in ADP and Salesforce

Review and update state-mandated labor law posters as required

Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

Previous experience in administrative or human resources support roles.

Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism.

Familiarity with email correspondence and customer service practices.

Knowledge of Excel formulas and spreadsheet management.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
