Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team located in Espanola, New Mexico. In this role, you will manage a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering reliable results.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, post, and distribute Accounts Receivable invoices with precision.
Process tenant lease adjustments and ensure proper documentation.
Conduct inventory counts and reconciliations
Review and allocate financials, posting costs as needed.
Manage fixed assets, prepaid insurance, and prepaid expenses reconciliations.
Prepare and distribute administrative allocation postings in a timely manner.
Handle health insurance processing and related financial tasks.
Assist in reviewing balance sheet accounts and making correcting entries when required.
Collaborate with team members to create purchase orders and enter Accounts Payable data.
Perform additional accounting, financial, or administrative duties as assigned
Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, demonstrating attention to detail.
Proficiency in managing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes and expense reconciliation.
Ability to allocate costs effectively and handle cash posting tasks.
Experience in preparing and analyzing balance sheets.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with colleagues across departments.
