Job Overview
The Administrative Director for Medical Student Simulation Program is a role within the Integrated Learning Center (ILC) in the Office of Medical Education at Georgetown University School of Medicine. This role generally oversees the day-to-day operations of the simulation program core to the medical education program, and management of the Integrated Learning Center operations. The role includes components of clinical skills teaching/education for medical students at all levels; scheduling of simulation sessions; and supervision of standardized patients (SPs), genitourinary teaching assistants (GUTAs), physical exam teaching assistants (PETAs), and Event Managers. Additional duties include but are not limited to:
Education/teaching (standardized patient case development support, ILC/clinical skills exam orientations, and clinical skills activities scheduling)
Supervision (SPs, GUTAs, PETAs, & Event Managers)
Operations/management (ILC)
Work Interactions
This role reports directly to the Sr. Associate Dean for Curriculum and works closely with the ILC Medical Director, other Deans within the Office of Medical Education and faculty who direct courses and clerkships utilizing standardized patient experiences in the School of Medicine. The administrative director is expected to attend and contribute to monthly meetings within the Office of Medical Education and participate in OME activities as appropriate for the education team. The administrative director will supervise the hiring and all activities of the standardized patients as part of the simulation program. The Standardized Patient Educator position will report directly to this role. The administrative director will work with the educational coordinators who support the curriculum in the Office of Medical Education.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
At least one-year prior experience with simulation and the work of standardized patients
Previous supervisory-level experience preferred
Knowledge of technical support systems (B-Line) for simulation encounters are helpful for the position

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$66,783.00 - $126,720.23
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
