Director of Marketing

Our client, a leading multi-brand company, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Director to lead local marketing efforts for one of its emerging specialty service brands. This role will work closely with the broader corporate marketing department, brand leadership, and franchise partners to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and local market performance.
The Marketing Director will serve as the primary marketing resource for franchise owners, equipping them with tools, strategies, and support to help grow their businesses. This individual will also develop and manage national marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overall brand strategy and business goals.
What You'll Do
Build and execute strategic marketing programs that generate leads, increase brand visibility, and support franchisee success
Collaborate with the corporate marketing team and brand leadership to design and deliver brand-specific marketing campaigns
Partner directly with franchise owners to advise on local marketing execution, identify gaps, and provide hands-on guidance
Develop customer personas, competitive positioning, messaging frameworks, and local content strategies
Oversee the creation of digital and print collateral, website content, direct mail, and paid media efforts
Monitor marketing KPIs and performance data to optimize campaign effectiveness
Provide regular training and updates to franchisees on best practices, tools, and systems
Contribute to marketing budget planning and provide insight on advertising fund strategies
Stay ahead of industry trends and consumer behavior to continuously improve marketing approaches
Lead and mentor a small marketing team (including specialists and/or managers)
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in marketing leadership roles, ideally within a franchise, home services, or restoration-focused business
Strong grasp of both strategic marketing and tactical execution across multiple channels
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional relationships with internal teams and external partners
Skilled in analyzing data and applying insights to refine marketing strategy
Clear, confident communicator comfortable interacting with both executives and franchisees
Passionate about innovation and continuous learning
Requirements
7+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years in a people leadership capacity
Familiarity with franchise marketing models and local market support
Agency or multi-stakeholder management experience preferred
