Description

We are looking for a meticulous Commercial Lender - Support specialist to join our team in Bethlehem, PA. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of pre-closing, closing, and post-closing processes for commercial loans. This role requires collaboration with attorneys, relationship managers, and other professionals to facilitate timely loan closings while maintaining high standards of organization and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review pre-closing documentation for commercial loans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all required conditions and covenants.

Organize loan files and verify the completeness of closing documents, including escrow calculations, reserves, and prepaid interest.

Coordinate closing schedules by liaising with attorneys, relationship managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution.

Perform loan setup tasks, including completing load sheets, preparing general ledger entries, and initiating wire transfers.

Establish and maintain loan files in accordance with department standards, collaborating with Loan Administrators to manage related responsibilities.

Process and prepare post-closing documentation for system input, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Maintain and update loan closing reference procedures to guide standard practices for closings, modifications, and conversions.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues, providing excellent service and support.

Generate and verify departmental reports, such as pipeline and closing reports, ensuring data accuracy.

Review and confirm mortgage discharge documentation and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Requirements - Proven experience in loan administration, mortgage processing, or related fields.

Strong knowledge of mortgage closing procedures and lending practices.

Familiarity with loan origination systems and financial calculations.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, relationship managers, and other professionals.

Proficiency in preparing and verifying financial documentation.

Solid understanding of compliance requirements in commercial lending.

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
