We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this contract to permanent opportunity, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial data. The Accounting Clerks duties will include accounting tasks, focusing on data accuracy and simple reconciliations to ensure all data is captured before exporting to their ERP system. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to key daily processes within the organization. Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for accuracy and a love for routine tasks? We are seeking Accounting Clerks with the ability to resolve discrepancies, okay with daily repetitive tasks, and understanding of Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Clerk:

Export invoices, reconcile data and enter into Sage ERP software.

Research and reconcile transactions to ensure all revenue and payments are accounted for.

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure the seamless flow of data for bank reconciliations.

Perform repetitive, daily tasks with a high degree of accuracy and focus.

Conduct minor account reconciliations related to accounts receivable and deposits.

Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records to ensure accurate reporting.

Track and reconcile payments, including fees, to ensure revenue figures align correctly.

Perform high-volume numeric data entry to maintain up-to-date financial information.

Utilize basic Excel functions and formulas to organize and analyze data effectively.

Maintain consistent attention to detail in repetitive daily operations.

Ensure all transactions are captured and accounted for in alignment with organizational standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Prior experience with accounts receivable (AR) and/or reconciliation work.

Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a role requiring high levels of accuracy.

Comfort with performing repetitive or monotonous tasks, understanding their critical impact on financial operations.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas; familiarity with pivot tables is a plus.
