THE POSITION
Are you an ambitious professional interested in supporting the administrative needs of the Pennsylvania Game Commission? Working as an Administrative Officer 1 in the Executive Office in our Harrisburg Headquarters, you will play a vital role in strengthening relationships with legislators, government officials, and key stakeholders. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the legislative office through administrative duties as well as provide the Executive Director with professional and confidential support while traveling and attending events and meetings. This role requires close collaboration with regional offices, bureau personnel, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution. Key to this position is facilitating effective communication and event logistics. You will have the opportunity to a nswer emails, phone calls, and mail as the administrative support for the legislative liaisons of the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Work includes a ttending events with the Executive Director such as public appearances, ribbon cutting ceremonies, commissioner's meetings, and other high-profile events.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two days per week, upon successful completion of the six month training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree;or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirement:
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension
One or more years working in an administrative role
One or more years working in the state system, the Pennsylvania General Assembly, or the administration
Legal Requirements:
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
