Job Description

Directly and through staff, manages and coordinates the operational activities for assigned functional area(s)/region(s). Ensures quality service and effective operations support for all assigned internal and external customers. Leads high performance teams of both entry level and skilled professionals by setting goals, providing ongoing feedback, measuring progress while recognizing success and building accountability with employees. Oversees adherence to corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations within area of responsibility. Participates in the review and improvement of operational systems and procedures relevant to assigned units.

Responsibilities

-Leads and oversees daily cash vault operations, ensuring efficient workflow and precise handling of cash and valuables.

-Conduct audits of vault activities and operational procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.

-Supervise and coach vault staff, providing performance feedback and fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.

-Manage the opening and onboarding of new accounts, maintaining rigorous standards for data integrity and security.

-Monitor cash inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate secure transportation and storage of funds.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Typically three or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

Thorough knowledge of operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services supported by the assigned area(s)

Understanding of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations

Thorough knowledge of applicable products, programs, financial analysis and related documentation as applicable

Good organizational, managerial and project management skills

Well-developed customer relations skills

Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

Excellent supervisory and management skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,140.00 - $108,400.00
