We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, entrepreneurially spirited professional to help fuel the growth of our Bioprocess Solutions portfolio in Los Angeles / Orange County. In this remote based position, you will be a trusted business partner to our customers in the biopharmaceutical arena. The successful candidate will be located within the territory. The territory covers Los Angeles and Orange County.
What you will accomplish together with us
Promote and sell the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets
Assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer enquiries, and suggest products and services as appropriate
Work closely with cross functional team to create a higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account
Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in the assigned territory
Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it in the business
Manage and build strong customer relationships for long-term partnership through in-person visits
Manage and grow an existing sales base within the assigned account and develop new contacts and applications
Demonstrate a natural affinity to influence and value sell to all levels of an organization
Ability to persuade, through logic and bottom-line reasoning
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its substantial presence in the given region
Support the Sales Manager/Director to achieve the annual sales target and fulfill corporate objectives within assigned accounts
Willingness and ability to travel frequently - 60% mostly home for dinner with some overnight.
What will convince us
Bachelor's degree in biotechnology discipline/pharmaceutical industry and/or equivalent relevant practical experience evidenced through 5+ years of Account Management experience within the biopharmaceutical industry
1+ years of Sales experience
3+ years of bioprocessing or relevant industry experience (preferably encompassing working within a GMP or GLP environment)
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $95,000.00 and $125,000.00, depending upon experience and qualifications. Commissions for this position generally range up to 30% of a candidate's base salary.
