Description We are looking for a meticulous Legal Secretary to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will provide critical support to four labor attorneys, ensuring seamless document management and organized administrative assistance. This position requires a strong commitment to accuracy and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, manage, and file legal documents, including e-filing and court submissions, with precision and attention to deadlines.

Maintain and organize calendars for multiple attorneys, scheduling meetings, appointments, and court dates effectively.

Assist with dictation tasks and transcription, ensuring all communications and documents are properly formatted.

Coordinate the flow of documents, ensuring they are properly reviewed, signed, and distributed as required.

Serve as the primary point of contact for administrative support, addressing inquiries and managing communications.

Handle confidential information with discretion and uphold the highest standards of integrity.

Manage correspondence and document preparation with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Support attorneys with day-to-day operations, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth office operations and workflow.

Monitor deadlines and follow up on pending tasks to ensure all responsibilities are completed promptly. Requirements

Proven previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal administrative role.

Proficiency in e-filing and handling court filings.

Strong calendar management skills and ability to organize schedules effectively.

Excellent dictation and transcription abilities.

High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
