Responsibilities
As a Data & Analytics Associate, you are responsible for supporting business units through data collection, analysis, and insights generation. You are a problem solver, a critical thinker, and a collaborative team player ready to make a difference.
In addition, you will:
Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights effectively.
Develop and document processes and workflows for data management and reporting.
Stay updated on data and analytics tools, trends, and best practices to enhance effectiveness.
Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Partner with operations to evaluate the financial impact of proposed initiatives and recommend strategies to optimize costs.
Conduct deep-dive analyses into revenue streams, cost structures, and operational efficiencies to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support cross-functional teams in evaluating and implementing financial systems, automations, AI, and tools to enhance data-driven decision-making.
Contribute to MES efforts by consolidating data, analyzing trends, and preparing financial insights.
Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Adhere to company rules and regulations and perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
About You:
You have 3-5 years of experience in a data analytics or finance related role.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proficient in data analytics tools and technologies, such as Excel (pivot tables, lookups), SQL, and Qlik/Power BI/Tableau.
Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Familiarity with database structures, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Strong understanding of financial principles and financial modeling.
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
Hands-on experience in creating dynamic financial models and sensitivity analyses.
Exposure to project-based work, with experience managing deliverables and deadlines.
Self-motivated and eager to learn new tools, techniques, and technologies.
Extra Credit:
More than 5 years of experience in a data analytics or finance related role is a plus.
