Customer Service Administrator

Our client is a major logistics firm that specializes in transporting products between Hawaii and the mainland United States. We are searching for a smart and diligent Customer Service Account Representative to join our clients main operation, located in Carson, CA.

This opportunity is a mix of customer service, account coordination, and logistics work. You will be responsible for providing quotes and estimates for freight shipping to both existing and new clients.

Specifically, you will:

Communicate, via phone, email, or the website, with the clients and answer questions about pricing strategies, estimates, and quotes for their specific orders

Onboard new clients into the system

Train those new clients to help them understand their shipping and receiving processes

Act as the liaison between the clients and your team members

You will be utilizing MS Outlook and our clients ERP system to coordinate everything. A keen attention to detail is paramount for a position such as this.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. First shift, from 8 am to 5 pm. Monday to Friday.

This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy:

You have at least 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably, in a B2B warehouse-like environment

Preferably, you have experience in Freight Forwarding

You come with a sales background, or are knowledgeable about sales processes

You can adapt quickly to changing circumstances

You are computer savvy, and you know your way around MS Office products like Word, Excel, and Outlook

You can work in a fast-paced environment, and can keep up with deadlines

You can work independently and take initiative when needed

You have a very strong attention to detail
