?As a Day Shift Delivery BOX Truck Driver, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

Safeguarding company property, including donated goods

Maintaining records such as Vehicle Logs and daily Trip Sheets?

Providing basic supervision for assigned Truck Helper

Reporting any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles

Reporting delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to headquarters

Loading and unloading trucks, vehicles, containers, and trailers.?

Maintaining appropriate communication with headquarters

Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on their assigned vehicle daily.?

Inspecting truck equipment and supplies (such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water).?

All other duties based on business needs.

You aren't looking for Monday thru Friday job where you are at a computer all day (must be available nights and weekends)?

? The good news is that we have an amazing training program that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a BOX Truck Driver. But there are a few skills you should have from the get-go:

Communicating effectively, including using positive language with team members

Attention to detail while multi-tasking

Learn and adapt to evolving technology needs

Work both independently and with a team

We are an awesome place to work and care about our teams, so we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics that we expect:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

Must be at least 21 years of age

Minimum 6 -12 months commercial truck driving experience

Valid Georgia Driver's License (Class C), with driving record acceptable to company's vehicle insurance standards

Must be able to read operating and safety instructions

Ability to effectively use a dolly, pallet jack and lift gate

Weekends are required
