About this Position
In this role...
Serve as primary support to the Stormwater Director and liaison with local governments and stakeholders.
Manage executive calendars, phones, meetings, travel, and expense reports.
Independently create presentations and coordinate the departmental events.
Handle, assign, and track information requests and communications.
Organize and maintain a central filing system for the department.
Prepare legal ads for public hearings and manage public request backups.
Support internal communications and maintain employee contact systems.
Represent the department on county-wide communication teams.
Manage Smartsheet systems for action tracking, forms, and automations.
eGenda and Human Resource Support:
Prepare, track, and process Board agenda items, briefings, assignments, and implements ordinances and resolutions.
Coordinate interviews, applicant travel, mandatory training, and liaises with HR for department needs.
Manage performance measures, action items, and maintain organization charts.
Respond to inquiries, compose and edit documents, and provide policy guidance to the Director.
Support major initiatives, board priorities, and trains staff on systems like Workday.
Process Improvement, Procurement, and Special Projects
Handle high-level issue resolution and problem-solving with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare agenda materials, presentations, and leads coordination of special projects.
Manage office purchases as P-Card holder and provide backup support for procurement processes.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related field.
Four (4) years of experience in administrative experience with some executive exposure.
-OR- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related field AND two (2) years of experience in administrative experience with some executive exposure.
-OR- Six (6) years of experience in administrative experience with some executive exposure at managers discretion.
Valid Florida Driver's License at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Professional Certification.
K nowledge of county, state and federal regulations.
Expereince with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, OnBase, Outlook, Clear Point, and/or Ludic chart.

Starting Pay Range: $23.56 - $25.00/ hour, based on experience.
