About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant that leads critical customer-depending marketing campaigns for the Small & Business Banking (SBB) Marketing Team. The role will lead a cross-functional team responsible for driving business customer engagement with Wells Fargo business accounts via direct marketing tactics (e.g. direct mail, digital and branch). This includes campaign strategy and development of target audience, value proposition, creative, execution and special offers. The role will collaborate and partner closely with a variety of internal teams; Data Analytics, Product Group, Product Technology, Finance and Marketing Channels Operations to manage the end-to-end marketing campaign strategy, management and execution process and enhancements.
This role is critical in helping Small and Business Banking deliver on marketing goals and customer-obsessed experiences via effective development and implementation of marketing engagement strategies across key customer segments as well as identifying opportunities to deepen Small Business product penetration, scale and profitability.
This person must be influential in leading across a matrixed team of partners, while also being able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other marketing leaders across the business and with external marketing/creative agency.

In this role, you will:
Build and manage deepening marketing campaigns, with email, digital and mail channels, that promote Wells Fargo Business Banking product acquisition(e.g. lines of credit and deposits), account usage, tools and product benefits, and other business products.
Test/learn and optimize/enhance marketing across multiple campaigns with the objective of achieving customer deepening goals and ROMI objectives.
Lead a matrixed-team of data analysts, channel managers, creative designers, and operations employees to achieve campaign goals.
Track macro-economic trends, small business environment, competitor strategies, promotions, pricing, and recommend pivots in direct marketing campaigns, when appropriate.
Collaborate with Marketing Science Team to forecast campaign results, author business cases, and publish campaign reporting packages that records the financial performance of the campaigns.
Provide ongoing performance updates to Head of Deepening Marketing, Small & Business Banking, Marketing Executives, Chief Marketing Officer, Business leadership team, and other C-suite level executives.
Ideate and drive breakthrough marketing concepts that will improve customer experience, response rates and lower the campaign cost per account.
Collaborate with various partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders to deliver marketing goals.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Proven success in leading direct marketing campaigns, specifically direct mail and digital campaigns
Strong knowledge of business banking products, retail banking, and small business customer segment
Strong analytical understanding of marketing campaigns, A/B testing, incremental lift, Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI)
Campaign management and execution experience, ideally within Aprimo or similar campaign management tool
Ability to direct creative teams to develop marketing campaign assets
Strong presentation development skills both in PowerPoint and verbal including with senior/C-suite level leadership
Must be able to successfully navigate a matrixed environment
Highly collaborative and can effectively lead a cross-functional team including both internal and external (agency) partners
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience in retail banking, preferably Small & Business Banking
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $196,000.00
