About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Marketing Consultant to lead organic media and affiliate marketing strategies for Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB). This role will be responsible for content strategies and effective media buying, planning and optimization designed to acquire new checking customers and drive deposit balance growth nationwide. This is a critical role in the CSBB Marketing organization and part of the media center of excellence serving consumer and small business banking goals.
In this role, you will:
Deploy paid media and content strategies, with a focus on organic search, including Google, Large Language Model platforms, and affiliate marketing
Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of our evergreen paid media campaigns and content strategies and work closely with business partners, our measurement team, and our media agency to measure and drive results
Regularly share plans and results with senior leadership to align on strategy and present opportunities for incremental investment and further optimization
Devise and execute an ongoing testing program in partnership with the Marketing Sciences team to continuously improve efficiency of paid media and content/ organic search related initiatives
Serve as primary point of contact to Wells Fargo's external media agency for affiliate marketing and partner closely with our Media Center of Excellence
Coordinate delivery of campaign metrics and insights to inform performance management and planning
Inform forecasting of campaign performance and optimal channel investment
Ensure adherence to legal, compliance, privacy regulations and policies related to marketing; ensure flawless execution of marketing channel controls, in partnership with the media agency and other internal partners
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of experience actively managing, reporting on, and optimizing affiliate marketing and organic search optimization strategies
5+ years of experience working for or with paid media agencies and vendors
Experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g., DV360, Social media platforms, affiliate publishers, Google organic search)
Experience pulling data and preparing results for review with Senior business leaders
Experience marketing in regulated industry, and working closely with Legal and Compliance partners to market products in a manner that meets all regulatory standards
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Problem Solving/Critical Thinking - Ability to think strategically about downstream impacts for initiatives
Analytical/Technical mindset - Enjoy challenges and determining workarounds or alternatives in response to technical and/or regulatory limitations, leveraging data and market research
Experience with planning and executing multiple paid and organic media campaigns/projects simultaneously
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$87,000.00 - $168,000.00
