Role Summary/Purpose:
The VP, Dental Client Development Leader, will be responsible for the successful program management and execution of initiatives and growth opportunities that support the long-term strategy of the Dental vertical. They will develop and execute business plans that accelerate revenue growth and market share, champion high-visibility projects, and collaborate with SYF cross-functional teams/resources and external stakeholders to launch new initiatives. They will spearhead innovation, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement to reinforce Synchrony's standing as a leader in the Dental market.
The critical experiences the incumbent would acquire in this role include Senior Leadership Interaction, Project Management, Business Planning, and Commercial Implementation.

Essential Responsibilities:
Work closely with the SVP & GM, Dental to prioritize, oversee, and execute key initiatives, strategic projects, and pilots.
Coordinate cross functionally to align on prioritization for product & channel enhancements
Monitor and communicate initiative, pilot and project updates and opportunities to Dental leadership
Own recurring operational and portfolio updates to the cross-functional Dental resources, functional team, and business management.
Create and deliver resources to the leadership team for the purposes of decision making, facilitating strategic discussions, evaluating key performance indicators, and driving accountability.
Partner with the Growth and Strategy organizations to ensure efforts align to Dental industry strategy and provide partnership and guidance to all Dental market efforts.
Synthesize updates and business intelligence for the executive team; summarize critical information and recommend action items.
Collaborate with Product Solutions team leading execution of MSF/Aggregator efforts for the Dental Team?.
Own and deliver dental team operating rhythm, including monthly operating & portfolio performance reviews, budget reviews, leadership offsite team meetings planning, and GPTW initiatives. Maintain rhythm and adjust to meet team's execution needs.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or 10 years+ of equivalent work experience in the financial services field.
Minimum of 6 years of client management, sales, and/or project management experience in the financial services field
Minimum 5 years of experience in delivering formal communications to senior business leaders or key external business partners.
Ability to travel up to 20% including overnight and weekend travel.
Strong influencing and project management skills.
Desired Characteristics:
Prior sales leadership experience in financial services or within industry.
In depth and demonstrated understanding of varying consumer finance products.
Previous experience working effectively across functions and dispersed teams.
Analytical thinker with excellent communication, presentation, and project execution skills.
Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
Proven track record of delivering results, detail oriented, and capable of handling large workloads through multi-tasking.
Strong financial business acumen.
Proven ability to influence corporate decision makers.
Grade/Level: 14
The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
