Staff Business Analyst - Finance & Accounting
Nutanix is building a world class organization and is looking for a top notch Order to Cash Business Analyst to add to the team. The position requires a highly dedicated individual who can deliver results in a high growth, ever-evolving environment. This person will be responsible for the functional design and support of SaaS solutions for Order to Cash stream.
The candidate will be part of the SaaS Engineering team and will be supporting various business groups like finance, accounting,FP&A team.. The candidate will act as a liaison between finance, services, operations and the delivery teams, to help drive and implement processes, systems and change adoption within the organization. The ideal candidate will have worked in fast paced organizations with rapid growth and frequent change, helping to drive and execute on change initiatives. The candidate must have architected scalable solutions for growth companies and should have guided and mentored teams to build robust solutions for a long term mindset.
Job Responsibilities
Documentation of business requirements and the associated metrics needed to identify if the requirements are achieved.
Efficiently optimize existing business processes to drive productivity in business groups
Design new business processes that will scale and help business teams across the company.
Effectively communicate business requirements to the technical organizations, guide other business analysts and provide feedback to ensure solution designs are scalable.
Provides regular communication regarding the status of specific projects and interfaces with all areas affected by the project
Be involved in project discussions and be able to act as a consultant in guiding business stakeholders to picking the right solutions for their needs keeping in mind the long term requirements.
Should be able to research and find industry best practices and solutions and build guidelines for the team to follow.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 8+ years of work experience and at least 4 years in NetSuite ERP experience.
Solid understanding of core financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, Budgeting).
Experience working with technical and functional teams preferably as a lead and should have mentored and guided teams to implement the best solutions.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, Accounting, and external vendors.

Strong relationship building with technical teams, analysts and business stakeholders.
Effective communicator that works well in a collaborative team setting
Exceptional ability to gather, organize and evaluate any information or data needed as input from stakeholders and development team to determine requirements and specifications.

Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, priorities and complete objectives on time.

Functional Requirements
Should have done multiple implementations of ERP systems (Netsuite, Oracle etc.)
Strong ERP Knowledge and experience in building automations and customizations for highly scalable solutions.
Should have experience in Integration platforms and other applications that are integrated in the ecosystem that are typically used in enterprise architectures.
Must be able to design and architect process flows for end to end business processes. Should be able to optimize existing flows and ensure all designs are implemented with proper exception handling implemented.
Should represent SaaS Engineering on design discussions needed with Business Stakeholders and other teams in the company
Candidates must have experience of working with technical teams across different time zones.
Must be able to drive process changes and reverse engineer processes if needed
Must have extensive reporting experience.
Experience in systems could include
ERPs -> Netsuite, Oracle ERP, SAP
CRM -> Salesforce
Integration Platforms -> BOOMI, Informatica etc.
Others -> COUPA, Zuora Billing and Revenue etc.
AI/ML -> Should have built or used tools and applications for AI/ML used cases
The candidate must have experience in ERP systems and must have a deep understanding of all financial and Order Processing modules and processes. Strong experience required in General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Inventory (from a period close standpoint) etc. Candidates must have experience with month end activities in the financial systems. Must have a good understanding of the ERP system Technology stack and how all the different components work in tandem to build good solutions.

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 131,200 and USD $262,800 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
