Warehouse Lead
Job Description Summary
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: To oversee all daily operation tasks in the warehouse and to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient facility.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Strict compliance to all C&W SERVICES Safety Policies and Procedures including all PolyOne Cardinal Safety Rules. Must be able to comply with all safety and work rules per company policy.
2) To oversee all shipping procedures. This includes pulling and staging orders, complying with all special instructions, checking orders, loading trucks to insure a properly balance and secure load.
3) To oversee all receiving procedures. This includes Unloading trucks, inspecting freight for damage, verifying material to packing lists and filling out necessary receiving forms, breaking down mixed pallets and following "SMART" put away procedures.
4) To oversee all housekeeping procedures. This includes keeping all work areas including the dock areas & aisle ways clean and free from debris, immediately cleaning up any material loss or spillage, putting all trash into appropriate trash bins.
5) To oversee all raw materials ordered by the plant are shuttled over in a timely and safe manner.
6) Oversee all outbound shipping activity to ensure deliveries are on time and accurate with zero complaints from the customer.
7) Oversee all receiving activity is completely accurate and received on time and supervise all activity regarding put away of received materials.
8) Must be able to perform all functions within the responsibilities of the team.
9) Must be able to operate the on-board RF monitors.
10) Make sure all equipment is in working and safe order. Notify Account Manager for all repairs necessary to keep equipment in safe operational order.
11) Investigate and report on all accidents and near misses.
12) Must be able to work overtime when required.
13) Employee will perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor.
14) Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.

Must have the ability to reschedule activities in response to changing conditions or multiple work demands.
PERFORMANCE GOALS :
Perform all functions and duties with no safety violations. Perform all shipments with no customer complaints. Perform all daily tasks at a highly efficient level to reduce overtime and expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must have high school diploma or equivalent . Must be proficient in SAP as it relates to job functions. Experience: Minimum of 2 years forklift experience. Must be certified by C&W SERVICES to operate a forklift.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear ANSI approved steel toe safety shoes at all times.
Must be able to wear approved safety equipment including, safety glasses, hearing protection, and long-sleeved shirts and pants.
