Job Description:

Screens and edits submissions for platforms within an internet-based program. Native-level English fluency is required, and regional language fluency may be required. Knowledge of the region of coverage is required. Must be proficient in the nuances of required languages including grammar and journalism editing standards. May serve as assignment editor. Other tasks include researching local and regional media in the region, identifying coverage angles, coordinating translations, updating associated social media platforms, assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, and technical tasks utilizing locally developed tools associated with internet-based publications.

Master's Degree and 10+ years of related experience required; relevant education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. Journalism experience, including experience writing or editing for internet-based or print news publications is highly preferred. Must be able to obtain DoD SECRET clearance. (Secret Clearance or higher is preferred)"

The likely salary range for this position is $83,429 - $104,650. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
