Accounts Payable Analyst

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Monroe, North Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing the accounts payable processes. This position requires strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This is 100% onsite, Monday - Friday. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to the in-office schedule.

Responsibilities:

Process high volumes of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Manage vendor relationships, including communication and maintaining accurate vendor files.

Prepare and process weekly payments via checks, ACH, and other methods.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper invoice approvals.

Monitor and respond to inquiries in the accounts payable inbox.

Assist with account reconciliation and reporting tasks.

Support the preparation of checks and other payment requests.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles.

Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software systems.

Strong knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.

Ability to manage high-volume invoicing efficiently and accurately.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication skills for managing vendor relationships.

Familiarity with ACH payments and other payment methods.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
