Job Description:

GDIT Federal Health Division is hiring an Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operations to ensure our Military Health programs and projects are efficient and effective.

(position is part-time, casual, approximately 20 hours per week or less)

HOW A OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies to improve the technical performance of staff.

Resource Management: Allocating and managing resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Creating budgets and conducting market research for proposals and ensure competitive bids. Keeps current with business and economic trends to forecast how the business will need to adapt and change over time.

Performance Monitoring: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of technical staff.

Team Leadership: Leading, training, and supervising operational staff to ensure goals and business objectives are met.

Problem-Solving: Addressing and resolving any issues that arise in the daily operations.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring that the operational processes contribute to overall customer satisfaction.

Analyzes current processes and workflows to help the organization run efficiently and effectively.

Create business strategies to achieve business targets

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

10+ years of experience managing a Human Performance program overseeing Athletic Trainers, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Performance Dieticians, Physical Therapists.

5+ years of experience developing and implementing strategic plans to include KPIs and metric tracking, resource management, budget management, etc.

Understanding of Military Health strategic goals and how they align to business operations

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a security clearance

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $68.00 - $92.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
