Job Summary and Qualifications

Position summary: Performs clinical laboratory testing on all ages of patients; inpatients, outpatients, and reference laboratory testing in accordance with applicable rules, and regulations. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of clinical laboratory procedures as they relate to the neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient.

What qualifications you will need:

Essential educational/licensure, skills and experience:

· Above average communication skills in all forms · Four (4) year degree in a chemical, physical, biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution. · Must be registry eligible or certified by a recognized accrediting agency. · Must obtain certification within one year of hire · Certification: BLS must be maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital
