About the department:Equipped with specialized technologies, including Balance Master, VitalStim, and Anodyne, the Rehab Services Department works to restore the functional abilities of patients. Emphasis is placed on collaboration.The department routinely finishes within the 90
thpercentile or better in the nation for patient satisfaction.
A typical dayincludes:Assisting Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapists to provide quality care to patients andresidentswith physical impairments and disabilities.
Completes pre-authorizationswith all new patients
Cleans and prepares clinical areas and therapy equipment
Maintains appropriate levels of therapy supplies
Answers phones, schedules appointments, and performs other clerical functions as needed
This position is:Full-time, 7am - 3:30pm
Job Requirements:
Education: HS diploma or equivalent
Experience: Prior CNA experience preferred but not required
Skills: Patient care, computer literacy, customer service
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
