Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Training of lab personnel, daily operations of the lab, incoming

sample processing, maintaining calibration of equipment

Ensuring health and safety processes and procedures are followed,

maintenance of a safe, ergonomically sound, professional work environment.

Responsible for on time delivery of test reports free of errors and

meet customer expectations. delivery of jobs

Implement efficiency improvement, process improvement, and 5 S

processes

Profile of the position (Responsibilities):

Responsible for managing daily operations of the laboratory

Oversee safety, ergonomics, maintenance, and cleanliness of

department (including upgrades, repairs, etc.)

Oversee implementation of SOPs for incoming sample processing in

accordance with company policy

Oversee/Ensure all processed documentation is complete and reviewed

as required

Ensure sample workflow from logistics meets the needs of the

department

Monitor special handling of identified clients

Must be able to establish a positive work environment that actively

encourages and supports employee involvement

Identify, develop and implement process improvement plans.Have

regularly scheduled staff meetings to ensure staff understands the expectations of company, clients and general safety in lab operations

Track/enter time/attendance of employees

Prepare month-end reports

Investigates/resolves and responds to client complaints

Responsible to ensure company policies are followed

Responsible for training and development of staff

Monitor on-going performance of employees; provide corrective action

and counseling as required

Effectively work with internal departments to resolve problems. Must

have interpersonal skills to gain cooperation with other departments, and foster continuous improvements

Strong written and spoken English skills, other languages will be an

advantage

Persuasive, diplomatic, but always to the point and a strong ability

to sell a concept

Hands-on, open-minded, proactive team player

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

College Degree Preferred with emphasis on Mechanical engineering

background

With 3-5 working experiences in Bike industry is preferable

Bachelor\'s degree desired but not required

At least 3-4 years supervisory experience preferred

Computer skills, MS Office applications

The ability to effectively work with internal departments to resolve

problems. Must have interpersonal skills and foster continuous improvements

Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements

Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and

interpersonal skills, and is able to manage client and employee concerns and expectations in a professional manner

Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting

Able to organize projects within the department and with crossfunctional departments

Strong communication and organizational skills

Willing to work under pressure
