This opportunity as a CIB Business Manager within Capital & Portfolio Management will collaborate with senior business and functional leaders across CIB banking and the enterprise to help drive the implementation, execution, and ongoing monitoring and reporting of CIB Banking's strategy within Capital & Portfolio Management.
In this role, you will:
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing business and client priorities while driving accountability across all internal functions supporting the business
Partner with the Banking Lending COO, Capital and Portfolio Management leadership, and other internal stakeholders to develop innovative solutions to both new and existing business challenges
Lead strategic engagement with CIB Lending Operations to ensure consistency for clients across current portfolios and new transactions, and serve as an escalation point for day-to-day issues with potential client impact
Deliver long-term, large-scale solutions that require vision, creativity, advanced analytical thinking, and inductive reasoning
Lead cross-functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that strengthen infrastructure and enhance delivery of corporate lending products
Provide direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing significant business solutions that ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Support the Banking Lending COO on key ad-hoc initiatives and strategic projects
Drive execution of portfolio management activities, including resource allocation, in alignment with CIB Banking strategy
Actively monitor and forecast business performance, including pipeline metrics and other key performance indicators
Facilitate communication across the Capital & Portfolio Management team to promote alignment with CIB's strategic priorities
Lead strategic analysis and develop presentations that inform and influence senior-level decision-making
Coordinate highly complex activities and provide guidance to others across budgeting, forecasting, infrastructure planning, compliance, and operational risk efforts
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of corporate & investment banking business management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of Corporate Lending and/or Investment Banking experience
In-depth understanding of investment banking and corporate banking products including debt capital markets, leveraged finance, loan syndications and underwriting as well as other relevant Corporate Banking products
Experience with front office technology implementations
Technical ability to manage complex workstreams and strategic ability to interpret results
Project management expertise to run committees, initiatives, employee engagement events, training efforts, etc.
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations
Ability to motivate a team and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization and multi-tasking as required
Ability to manage large-scale initiatives including stakeholders across business, legal, control, support and technical teams
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and achieve goals in a dynamic environment
Job Expectations:
Ability to work outside of regular business hours including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
