Job Title: (Bi-Lingual) Member Services Representative

Job Description

Serve as a Member Services Advocate during the Annual Enrollment Period, acting as a key point of contact for member inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other plan services. Your role involves ensuring member satisfaction by delivering superior customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Provide language interpretation for incoming calls, with a focus on Cantonese. The volume of these calls is not expected to be high.

Conduct light administrative work, including database cleanup and ad hoc projects during downtime.

Make light outbound calls as needed.

Participate in training sessions to become proficient in administrative duties and call expectations.

Proficiency in on of the languages bellow:

Cantonese

Mandarin

Vietnamese

Korean

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in healthcare, doctor office, dental office, hospitality, or any customer service role for at least 2 years.

Knowledge of other languages such as Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, and Spanish is beneficial.

Work Environment

This is a remote position with eligibility limited to residents of CA, NM, NV, TX, and AZ.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
