Our client, a highly regarded mid-sized law firm, is seeking an experienced Healthcare Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This is a fully remote Litigation Attorney position offering the opportunity to work with a collaborative, nationally recognized practice group.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of litigation experience in complex matters. The role involves managing cases from inception through resolution, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling hearings and mediations.

Responsibilities

Independently manage a healthcare litigation caseload

Draft and respond to motions, discovery, and other pleadings

Represent clients at depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences

Collaborate with clients, experts, and co-counsel to develop litigation strategies

Maintain high-quality legal work product while working in a fully remote environment

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice in California

2+ years of healthcare litigation experience (medical malpractice defense, payer/provider disputes, or regulatory litigation preferred)

Strong writing, research, and case management skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of civil litigation experience.

Active license to practice law in California.

Proven ability to draft and argue complex legal motions.

Familiarity with arbitration processes and trial preparation.

Strong skills in legal research and factual analysis.

Experience with depositions, particularly involving expert witnesses.

Knowledge of healthcare-related litigation and contract interpretation is highly preferred.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
