Description
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Purpose: Responsible to support the manufacturing process by completing preventative and unscheduled maintenance on all assembly production equipment
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
Support manufacturing process in production department by responding to unscheduled breakdowns on production equipment
Accurate completion of PM documents and assigned work orders
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
Assembly of new production fixtures and components
Support continuous improvement practices by documenting improvements
Monitor torque calibration program
Verification of equipment to ensure all safety features are in working order
Maintain overall orderliness and organization of the tool crib
Support and demonstrate 5 "s" principles
Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are being completed
Participate in routine line set-ups
Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives
Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience in assembly/production maintenance
Experience in hydraulics, pnuematics, & electronics preferred
Basic computer skills
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Current forklift certification
Data entry of work orders / PM sheets
Ability to focus on assigned tasks and complete in a timely manner
Training:
Reference OJT
Physical Demands:
Ability to walk or stand 90% of shift
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to twist, bend, stoop and climb ladders/stairs
