Position Summary:

Reports to to the Director, Treasury & Capital Management. Responsible for updating and maintaining company cash systems and records, managing various bank account records, working with the AP department to resolve payment inquiries, assisting with accounting and bookkeeping requirements, and assisting with all other responsibilities within the Treasury department requiring extreme discretion, accuracy, and attention to details.

Essential Functions:

Update and maintain the daily cash transaction records including coordination with other team members.

Maintain records for company bank accounts, including signature cards, bank contacts, etc.

Coordinate and manage opening, closing, and maintaining various bank accounts in various states.

Coordinate weekly deposits including proper documentation and recording in the system.

Investigate and resolve inquiries from the AP department regarding payments.

Assist with preparing checks, updating accounting records, and running reports within the company's accounting system and QuickBooks software.

Prepare and assist in the preparation of required reports ensuring that they are submitted promptly and accurately.

Assist with special analysis of accounts including GL reconciliations.

Perform basic accounting functions (i.e., journal entries, reconciliations, reports, etc.)

Assist finance department with accounting and clerical duties.

Provide administrative support to the department in preparing and executing official documents, letters, and communications.

Support management with coordinating department meetings, events, and special projects.

Prepare presentations and reports as necessary.

It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and two years administrative assistance-related experience and two years of experience in accounting-related work.

Type a minimum of 60 words per minute.

Must have knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office programs required, specializing in Excel and Word programs.

Experience with integrated accounting systems and QuickBooks is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work well in a team effort.

Unless waived by management, valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
