What does a successful Operation Management Senior Professional do?

At Fiserv, an Operation Management Senior Professional within the Payment Acceptance team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our merchants process transactions efficiently and in compliance with the latest Card Brand requirements. They act as a liaison between Fiserv and the Card Brands (primarily MasterCard and Visa), providing expertise, guidance, and support to our Bank Partners. The Operation Management Senior Professional contributes to our mission by helping to update systems based on mandates, participating in Advisory Boards, and effectively managing projects to successful completion.

What you will do:

Collaborate with Card Brands to stay updated on new requirements and interchange programs.

Represent Payment Acceptance as a subject matter expert for selected Card Brands.

Participate in Advisory Boards or Committees with Card Brands.

Assist in updating Fiserv systems based on Card Brand mandates.

Partner with internal and external representatives to resolve merchant or vendor issues.

Manage projects from requirements/business case through to launch, detailing and organizing project plans.

Control and anticipate project issues, ensuring effective communication plans are executed.

Support and supervise staff positions and undertake other duties as assigned.

What you will need to have:

4+ years of experience in project management with a focus on payment processing.

4+ years of experience working with major Card Brands, such as Visa and MasterCard.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.

4+ years of experience in operational management, including long-term and short-term planning.

Proven track record of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.

What would be great to have:

3+ years of experience in EMV and/or Credential on File transactions.

3+ years of experience in updating systems based on new compliance mandates.

4+ years of experience in a supervisory role.

Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar).

4+ years of experience in communicating and collaborating with high-level stakeholders.

Salary Range:

$66,000.00-$89,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
