Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Hours

8am-4pm

Job Description

Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, packing, and picking to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Utilize a windows-based warehouse system to route orders, look up locations, process sales orders, complete export documentation, create bills of lading, and navigate online portals.

Operate the Label Matrix system to create and print labels for multiple customers.

Schedule outbound freight by contacting trucking companies.

Adhere to all safety and health standards.

Participate in kaizen events to continuously improve work processes.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in receiving, packing, and picking.

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Basic knowledge of warehouse functions.

Ability to count and verify items picked or packed.

Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Windows-based warehouse system, AS400 systems, and Manhattan Scale.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and composition.

Ability to follow directions effectively.

Extensive knowledge of warehouse functions.

Work Environment

The work environment includes mild exposure to dust particles and weather elements. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toe shoes are required during shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.87 - $18.87/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
