Description

We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our client's team! In this role, you will play a vital part in streamlining billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and working on reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheets to maintain accurate financial records.

Handle billing processes by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.

Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements - Proven experience in bank reconciliations and balance sheet management.

Strong understanding of general ledger operations and accounting principles.

Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries.

Hands-on experience with month-end close processes.

Familiarity with billing procedures and financial systems.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract role.
