As an Accounting Clerk your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Process incoming checks accurately and promptly, ensuring proper documentation.

Reconcile customer accounts and address any payment discrepancies to maintain accurate records.

Update and manage accounts receivable data using spreadsheets and internal systems.

Assist in preparing month-end financial reports and supporting audit activities.

Collaborate with team members to streamline billing and invoice processing workflows.

Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for advanced functions, including formulas and pivot tables.

Support general accounting functions as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

The ideal Accounting Clerk candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or related field is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features like formulas and pivot tables.

Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized financial records.

Excellent problem-solving skills to address payment discrepancies effectively.

Ability to handle sensitive financial data securely and with discretion.

Experience in billing, invoice processing, and account reconciliation processes.
