Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing billing processes, collections, and account reconciliation tasks while collaborating in a fast-paced, onsite setting.

Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications.

Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.

Manage commercial collections and maintain communication with clients to resolve outstanding balances.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

Process cash applications efficiently to update customer accounts.

Maintain accurate records of all transactions and collections efforts.

Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and streamline processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all accounts receivable activities.

Provide timely updates on collection statuses and escalate issues as necessary.

Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections.

Proficiency in account reconciliation and cash applications.

Strong knowledge of commercial collections practices.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work onsite in Tampa, Florida, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
