Sunstates Security is hiring a Security Account Manager in Greensboro, NC. The Account Manager is responsible for the daily functioning of a contract site including operations, customer service, personnel management, security & safety in accordance with Sunstates objectives.

Responsibilities and basic requirements include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Recruits, trains, develops, and consistently evaluates the security staff and provides coaching and training to ensure compliance with the clients' rules, procedures and protocols are adhered to.
Maintains oversight of the training programs and provides feedback to the client on training opportunities or any recommended refinements to the current procedures.
Conducts performance reviews and issues corrective actions as needed.
Responsible for oversight of the site's work climate regarding the staff and relaying any conflict management issues, and providing consistent and timely feedback to Management.
Attend meetings with the client and additional personnel to determine operational needs.
Outstanding communication with the client is required both orally and in written correspondence. This includes the ability to conduct site investigations and pragmatically articulate the facts of your findings during breaches, access control issues or any other incident. This includes presenting a flawless, grammatically written incident report each time and training the staff in report preparations. Must be well-versed in security-related data collection.
Responsible for submitting a monthly KPI matrix to the client to evaluate the staff's performance, training, staff retention, and overall work productivity.
Coordinates staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
Adjusting work schedule to accommodate site-specific needs (I.E staffing shortages, incident reports, special events, etc).
Required Experience and Skillsets:
A minimum of 3 years of related management experience within the security, law enforcement, or military is required.
Demonstrated management proficiency directing a security staff of more than 30 people.
Must be comfortable using technology. Must have a basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and SharePoint applications.
Knowledge of payroll systems (WinTeam) is a plus.
Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV operations, surveillance, emergency meeting points, building evacuations, and gate operations.
Experience with emergency response and related duties to include experience as a first responder which includes rendering first aid and having the proven ability to
seamlessly work with the onsite ERT and local emergency services.
Must have a basic knowledge of fire systems, including the ability to use piping diagrams for emergencies and some knowledge of fire pumps and basic components.
Additionally, the Account Manager will serve as a liaison with all Federal, State and local service providers.
Ability to analyze information and inform others.
Experience with staffing, tracking budget expenses, reporting, and schedule management.
Ability to work in various weather conditions, and walk or stand for long periods without loss of productivity.
Must have 24/7 availability and be available to work additional hours and shifts as needed for emergencies and special coverage.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
