Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join our team on a Contract basis in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee critical accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and resolution of financial transactions. This position requires a strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

Log into customer portals to retrieve necessary documentation and process credit memo requests using AS400 or the Trade Promotion Management System.

Identify and set up disputes for any invalid deductions or billbacks.

Maintain and update a detailed deduction log for assigned accounts as required.

Investigate and resolve open credit memos or unapplied cash balances.

Provide advanced accounts receivable support by conducting thorough research, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.

Collaborate with the Customer Accounting Supervisor to manage complex accounts receivable tasks.

Oversee and collect outstanding deduction balances while fostering positive relationships with customers.

Ensure accurate and efficient data entry for all accounts receivable processes.

Utilize Excel for data analysis, including creating formulas, formatting, and filtering as needed. Requirements - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.

High data entry speed with minimal errors.

Ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures.

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas and filtering.

Familiarity with AS400 or similar enterprise systems.

Background in accounts receivable functions, including collections, cash applications, and billing.
