As a Construction Manager Sr., each day brings a dynamic blend of leadership, technical oversight, and collaboration. You'll lead construction inspection teams across a variety of projects, including natural gas pipelines and compressor stations, while working closely with project execution and operations teams to align on goals and ensure seamless delivery. Your role centers on planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities with safety as the highest priority. Whether you're on-site supervising field work, engaging in strategic planning sessions, or navigating complex project challenges, you'll rely on both your technical expertise and interpersonal skills to drive results. Responsibilities/Expectations:
Accounts for front end construction planning, estimate development, analysis, and contract management
Provides input on QA/QC staffing, cost and schedule management, and coordination with business partners
Guides contracting strategy and contractor qualification and selection
Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
Develops construction progress reporting and leads project closeout activities
Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
Anticipates and proactively addresses potential issues and claims
Provides onsite leadership to inspection teams with a focus on safety and quality
Demonstrates experience with both pipeline and compressor station construction projects
Interprets engineering drawings and construction prints with precision
Identifies critical path activities related to permitting, materials, and resource availability
Assesses and plans for adequate workspace and site logistics
Applies budgeting and estimating knowledge to support project planning and valuation
Applies creative problem-solving to resolve field challenges and keep projects on track
Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to align on project goals
Champions a strong safety culture across all phases of construction
Monitors project schedule, financials, and safety metrics to ensure overall health
Performs other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of eight (8) years' related experience with five (5) years' experience on large projects (greater $50M) and CCM (CMAA) Certification
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
Physical and Environment Work Requirements:
Must be willing to:
Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
Use hand tools

Resides in a location that enables travel to job sites within 24 hours of notification to support timely response to construction-related needs
Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record
Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as the utmost priority
Leverages Microsoft Office applications to manage documentation, reporting, and project workflows
Prioritizes customer needs and expectations in project execution
Communicates clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders
Analyzes trends in project data to identify risks and opportunities
