Contract Accounts Receivable Specialist - Construction Company

Location: Northwest Side of Indianapolis

Duration: 3-4 Months

Work Arrangement: Fully In-Office

Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional seeking a short-term contract to leverage your skills while contributing to the success of a growing business? A reputable construction company located on the northwest side of Indianapolis is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the financial aspects of its business during a 3-4 month project.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately manage customer account processes, including invoicing, payment application, and account reconciliations.

Monitor and track outstanding accounts receivable balances while ensuring timely collection efforts.

Address and resolve any discrepancies or disputes with clients in a professional manner.

Generate regular reports on cash flow, aging reports, and accounts receivable status for management review.

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, operations) to ensure seamless and accurate processing of transactions.

Additional Information:

This position is fully in-office at the company's headquarters on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Candidates should be local to the Indy metro.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably within the construction or related industries.

Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel).

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication skills to maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.

Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to handling account challenges.
