Located onCoronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.
In this role, you will oversee ENO Market & Pizzeria and Sundaes, managing a team of 15-20 and reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager.
The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations. At least 2 years of restaurant leadership experience is required. Strong barista and retail experience and prior union experience are a plus.

Pay Rate :?The salary range for this role is $67,000 - $70,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
What will I be doing?
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you would be responsible for assisting the General Manager in directing and organizing the activities and services of the signature restaurant to deliver an excellent guest experience. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Assist in the management of operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
Assist in monitoring and assessing product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
Assist in initiating and implementing marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue
Assist in recruiting, interviewing and training team members
Act in the absence of the manager, as needed
